Refurbishing Telescopes
This section will change as I learn (and share) things that I learn about amateur telescope repair. So far, I have refurbished a Coulter Odyssey 10.1 inch Newtonian, a 4.5 inch Tasco Reflector, and most recently 5 inch Meade ETX-125 "GoTo" telescope. My interests focus on getting the telescope's optical system in top working order, not necessarily the cosmetic appearance of the scope. I will spend more time on ensuring a mount is stable or that the scope focuses smoothly and optics are aligned, than repairing scratches on the tube.
