This is M-42. I use an
Orion 80 ED. Total exposure time was 2.5 hrs. I use a QHY8
camera. I used a 120 ED as a guide scope. My mount is an Orion
Atlas. The date of this exposure was taken 10-26-08. |

This image is M-78. It was
taken on 11-25-08. It was taken through a 120-ED, guided through an
80-ED, and it was 30x10 min. exposures. The camera used was a QHY8. |

The image was taken
from the light polluted side of my sky in the north east, so it took a lot
of processing to achieve this result with little data.
3x 180 second exposures
layered from
3x 60 second subs individually
processed and layered 4x.
